For families
So that not one person has to remember everything
Who feeds the rabbits today? When is recycling day? Where is the descaler? collabDoo distributes your family’s recurring tasks fairly, explains every task and turns completions into shared goals – from picking dinner to a trip to the cinema.
Family life
Built for families with kids
Kids without an account
One parent account, profiles for everyone. Kids switch with a PIN – on their own phone or the tablet in the kitchen. No e-mail, no password.
Simple view
Kids see one big card with a picture: “Feed the rabbits – done!”. Plus their own goal rings. Nothing else.
Rotation in the kids’ group
Unloading the dishwasher rotates automatically between Max and Mia. Who had it is in the history – discussion over.
How-to on the task
How much hay, which food, where is it kept? The how-to opens right from the task – for grandma stepping in, too.
Parents confirm
“Tidy your room” with photo and four-eyes review: points come once a parent has confirmed.
Family goal
Every completion counts for Max, for the “kids” group and for the whole family. At 600 points there is the family trip to the cinema.
Pets
The rabbits get fed every day. By someone.
Area pets, object rabbits, knowledge “rabbit care”, task “feed the rabbits” daily by 8:00 – kids in rotation, 5 points, required checklist water, hay, fresh food. An NFC sticker on the hutch opens the task right there.
- Streak goal: “7 days without overdue pet care”
- Report “out of food” – the kids too
- History on the object: who fed when?
School & daycare
School bag, homework, gym kit
Tasks with time windows: “pack the school bag” by 19:30, “homework” on school days, “gym kit” Tuesdays only. Reminder by push to the kid’s phone or widget on the lock screen – without parents having to nag.
- Points per weekday: tidying the room on Sunday earns more
- Quiet hours: no notifications after 8 pm
From the suggestion catalogue
The family catalogue
9 areas, 15 objects, 29 tasks, 7 how-tos, 7 rewards and 5 goals – to tick.
Goals: “Family: 600 points this month” · “7 days without overdue pet care” · “Weekly goal: 150 points”
Tip
The old iPad goes in the kitchen
A tablet on the wall shows the profile grid. Whoever comes home taps themselves, enters the PIN and sees what is up today. Widgets on the home screen show the same profile. That way no child needs their own device.
FAQ
Questions from parents
From what age does it work?
As soon as a child recognises pictures and can press a big button. Tasks carry a picture, the simple view has hardly any text, very small children need no PIN. Tasks can be limited to a minimum age.
Do kids see what the parents have to do?
No. Kids see their own tasks and goals plus the group and family goals. Other people’s personal goals and the manage area stay with the adults.
What if we do not want points?
Points are optional. You can create tasks without points, leave out goals or set the points mode to “progress only”. There are no minus points by default.
